I’m a mental health therapist focused on empowering all minds and bodies through education and authentic interpersonal connection.
Depression, anxiety, exhaustion, and overwhelm are indicators that you aren’t getting what you need, not that you are broken. Understanding our emotional experiences and nervous systems enables us to properly identify problems and work towards solutions that are centered in self-trust and self-compassion. I became a therapist because I am passionate about learning how our bodies and minds work together and I want to share what I’ve learned. I believe understanding how the mind and body work together and actively engaging with them is a necessary component in supporting improved mental health, relationships, and quality of life.
Most importantly, I believe that everyone deserves to have a space where they can feel truly heard and understood by another human being without judgment, and where they can safely express what they feel while knowing that it will be respected and acknowledged. True validation and acceptance from others allows us to better tap into our own inner wisdom.
Why work with me?
It can feel overwhelming to try and untangle our thoughts, feelings, and pieces of our identity while trying to manage our responsibilities, relationships, and basic needs. It can be especially difficult if, no matter how hard we try, nothing seems to get better.
