Frequently Asked Questions
Are you meeting in-person or virtually?
Both! I will soon be seeing clients in-person from my Salt Lake City, UT office, or you always have the option to meet with me virtually according to your preference.
Do I have to live in Utah to meet with you?
I am currently only licensed to provide counseling services in Utah, but I plan to expand my services to other states once the interstate Counseling Compact goes into effect.
Can you assess for and diagnose autism and/or ADHD?
Yes. As a licensed counselor and with my expertise in adult presentations of autism and ADHD, I am qualified to assess for and diagnose autism and/or ADHD. I do not conduct formal neuropsychological evaluations or administer test batteries, nor am I able to prescribe medication.
Do you take insurance?
Yes. I’m currently paneled with SelectHealth, BCBS, and EMI. Please verify with your insurance provider to ensure that your individual plan is covered.
What is the cost of a self-pay session?
Self-pay/cash-rate sessions cost $160 for an initial 50-minute intake session, and then $135 per 50-minute session thereafter.
What’s included in a free consultation?
Consultations are up to 20 minutes over video chat or the phone to discuss what you’d like to get out of meeting and to determine if we would be a good fit. This is not a therapy session, but a chance to ask questions and get to know one another before committing to an appointment.
